Diamonds Jamaica Series 2026

The Australian Diamonds secured a dominant series victory over the Jamaica Sunshine Girls on Sunday, delivering a second consecutive 73–41 masterclass at a packed RAC Arena in Perth. The 32-goal win officially sealed the three-match international series with one game still to play.

Highlighted by a significant milestone for vice-captain Kate Moloney, who took to the court for her 50th international test, the Diamonds' synergy was on full display, led by captain Liz Watson’s lightning-fast transitions and a standout performance from wing attack Georgie Horjus, whose creative playmaking earned her Player of the Match honors.

Across the court, the Jamaican Sunshine Girls displayed immense heart and defensive grit. Latanya Wilson was a particular standout, working tirelessly to record a game-high seven gains and proving why she is one of the most respected defenders in the world. The 2026 Winter Olympics, officially known as Milano Cortina 2026, launched with a spectacular and historic Opening Ceremony on February 6, 2026. Centered around the theme of "Armonia" (Harmony), the event broke tradition by taking place across multiple locations in Northern Italy, with the primary festivities held at the iconic San Siro Stadium in Milan.
